Chris joined Aquilo Partners in January 2005. Dr. Carthy has 7 years of prior biotechnology experience in therapeutic and tool-based companies focused on cancer, cardiovascular, pulmonary, immune and infectious diseases. He began his biotechnology career at QLT in preclinical pharmacology and most recently spent 3 years at Affinium Pharmaceuticals as a senior member of its business development team. His experience spans the academic and drug discovery industry including discovery research, clinical & regulatory, marketing, and business development. He has 25 peer reviewed publications and has seen a number of licensing and discovery partnerships through to completion.
Dr. Carthy received his Ph.D. from the University of British Columbia in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine and his B.Sc. from Queen's University. |
