Marc Schneidman joined Aquilo Partners in 2009. Marc has spent his career as an investor in the life science industry.
Prior to Aquilo Partners, Marc spent 14 years as a portfolio manager at the Biotechnology Value Fund L.P. (BVF), a $600 million dedicated life science investment fund. Marc was responsible for investment selection, research analysis and portfolio management. Between 2006 and 2008, Marc was responsible for building and managing the private company investment portfolio. During his career Marc has worked closely with his portfolio companies on strategic development, corporate partnering and PIPEs.
Marc worked at PaineWebber Inc. in San Francisco as a Research Associate prior to joining BVF. He worked closely with the PaineWebber Development Corporation on alternative investment financing vehicles for public biotechnology companies.
Marc is Chairman of Biotica Technology, Inc. and sits on the board of several private biotech companies.
Marc received a BA in biological sciences from the University of California at Santa Barbara and a JD from Santa Clara University. |
